Over the past four years, with the generous financial support from the Department of Canadian Heritage, we have worked diligently to preserve and revitalize our ancestral Michif language and restore Michif cultural values and teachings within our services to Métis children/youth and families. <br> It is our best hope that by incorporating Michif language and cultural teachings into our agency’s day-to-day practice and by creating a resource that can be shared with others, our agency will contribute to our collective commitment to reconciliation and to the preservation and revitalization of our ancestral Michif language and culture.

With the generous support of Canadian Heritage, we are pleased to debut our new resource that is available to all Métis child and family service agencies: Living Michif – Reclaiming our Traditional Language and Values in Child and Family Service and Practice and accompanying DVD
